Front-End / UI Developers
Front-End / UI Developers work with the latest technology (HTML5, CSS3, & JavaScript) to deliver high quality, highly functional web and mobile applications. The Front-End / UI Developer position works closely with the design team to convert high-fidelity visual designs into working applications. They also collaborate closely with other members of a cross-functional team to create compelling, highly functional, highly usable, easily understandable web and mobile applications.
Summary of essential job functions:
Develop Single Page Application based on design team specifications
Collaborate and contribute, as needed, with the design team on prototypes and other mock-ups
Collaborate with QA team and Business Analysts
Develop custom JavaScript that leverages third party and/or open source JavaScript libraries
Deliver unit tests and/or automation (e2e) tests for any JavaScript libraries or applications developed
Encourage best practices in user interface design, usability and front end development and propagation of these skills to other development staff members
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of user-centered design principles
A genuine interest in the latest technological developments in web development like ES6/ES2015, etc.
Knowledge of Single Page Application (SPA) architecture and Model View Controller (MVC) patterns
Familiar with Responsive UI Design/Development techniques and best practices
Experience with AngularJS + Twitter Bootstrap
Familiar with JSON and working with REST-based services from UIs
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years industry experience as a UI developer or a sufficient portfolio of example sites/applications
Middle to Senior Fullstack JS Engineers
Middle to Senior Fullstack JS Engineer at Wield AI, you will be an essential cog in our development machine. Your role involves leveraging the capabilities of JavaScript to create and optimize platforms that interact seamlessly with our AI engines. Your expertise will guide the evolution of our products, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and user-centric.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy efficient and scalable JavaScript applications
Engage in continuous code refactoring, ensuring best practices and design patterns are adhered to.
Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle.
Stay informed of emerging JavaScript frameworks and technologies and, when applicable, implement them into your workflow.
Address and rectify bugs and performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal application performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in JavaScript development.
Experience with Node.js or other server-side JavaScript technologies.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6.
Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs and a basic understanding of backend systems.
Familiarity with WebSockets, Service Workers, gRPC, or other real-time technologies.
Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a passion for crafting high-quality solutions.
Preferred (but not mandatory):
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
Exposure to TypeScript or other statically typed languages.
Prior experience in working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Python will be a plus
Middle to Senior Python Engineers
Middle to Senior Python Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing complex applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible with Python. Your extensive experience will guide the team towards maintaining best coding practices, ensuring efficient and high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, ensuring their scalability, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into tangible software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, fostering a culture of quality and knowledge sharing.
Mentor junior developers, helping them grow and enhancing team capability.
Keep updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and suggest improvements where necessary.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure seamless production releases.
Lead design discussions and help in setting technical standards and best practices for the development team.
Having experience in NLU would be a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Python, with a deep understanding of its strengths and weaknesses.
Strong experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their integrations.
Proficiency in databases, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB).
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including design patterns, code reviews, and automated testing.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both written and verbally.
